Roof and gutter cleaning
About Roof & Gutter Cleaning
Our high-pressure washing technology is necessary when roofs have developed moss, algae and other fungi. Moisture persists for a long time in moss and other microorganisms, which damages the roof surface as a result of freezing and thawing.
As a result of this process, the ceramic granules of the shingle plates are lost. Ceramic granules are the protective layer of bitumen shingles from the sun's ultraviolet rays; if they are lost, the bitumen material is increasingly damaged, which in turn causes precipitation to leak into the building.
In the roof washing process, we use special roof washing equipment designed for this work, thus protecting the ceramic granules. Using our roof high-pressure washing technology, you will maximize your roof's service life and help the roof perform its functions.
Roof Types
- Shingle
- Tile
- Sheet metal
- Slate
Dirt and Cleaning Methods
- Moss, algae and other microorganisms - if moss has grown in large quantities, it is first removed mechanically, then moss and algae are moistened and depending on the roof covering, a cleaning agent (environmentally friendly) is added to help separate moss and algae from the roof covering more easily. After that, the roof covering is cleaned with washing equipment specifically designed for this work
- Tree branches, leaves - they accumulate in roof gutters and are cleaned manually using ladders and if necessary a lift
Surface Restoration and Post-Treatment
- The roof is treated with a special substance to prevent moss and algae growth in the near future
- Sheet metal roof painting
- Asbestos cement slate restoration with hydroizolation and anti-cracking paint designed for this purpose, which forms a membrane for the asbestos concrete surface, preventing the separation of asbestos dust, the separation of which from asbestos cement slate is promoted by unfavorable atmospheric effects.
